Create Child Theme in Ultimo - Changes in both default.xml and phtml-files needed? Footer doesn't work!

0

Hello,

I have created 6 child themes with Infortis Ultimo, in Magento 2.3, no problem at all.

The question: Do I need to do changes in both the Magento_Theme/layout/default.xml file, and templates/html/*.phtml files of these child themes, to include static blocks, in these 6 new Ultimo child themes?

Reason I ask: All these 6 child themes must have their own static blocks, so I have duplicated all the original blocks from Ultimo, and put new names and identifiers on them, and my child themes doesn't include the blocks in my footer, even if I make the correct changes in the layout.xml file?!

Note: This can be a solely Ultimo issue I have!

Child Theme Default.xml Example

<block class="MagentoCmsBlockBlock" name="child_theme1_block_footer_primary_bottom_left">
<arguments>
<argument name="block_id" xsi:type="string">child_theme1_block_footer_primary_bottom_left6</argument>
</arguments>
</block>

Child Theme Block Identifier

Thanks,
