New Japanese order missing, but showing in Customer account

Customer places order in Magento 1.9.4 and continues though the checkout to the payment gateway.



The customer can see the order in his account afterwards. However the order does not show in the Admin sales page.



When I check the customer's orders in Admin Panel > Customers > Manage Customers I can only see the old orders from a few months ago.



Also sometimes the customer has placed the order and doesn't reach the payment gateway.



However in every instance, their order is always recorded in sales_flat_order.



this is only happening with some customers from Japan. However some japanese orders from other customers are arriving ok.



When I test it myself, there is no issue. it behaves fine. nothing is saved in sales_flat_order until I am re-directed to the payment gateway (Monek). When I arrive at the payment gateway, then the order shows up in the admin sales page.



So the issue lies between when the customer clicks to go to the payment gateway and when they arrive at the payment gateway.



Magento Log Files show no errors.
Apache web logs show no errors.



Any help would be appreciated.
