How to resize product view page image on different devices in magento 2

I'm trying to resize product view page image in mobile view. it's very small and not visible
I tried resizing by adding new sizes in /etc/view.xml and php bin/magento catalog:images:resize
<view xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="urn:magento:framework:Config/etc/view.xsd">
<media>
<images module="Magento_Catalog">
<image id="product_base_image" type="large_image">
<width>500</width>
<height>500</height>
</image>
<image id="category_page_grid" type="small_image">
<width>350</width>
<height>350</height>
</image>
</images>
</media>
But i didn't got any changes
