Log SKU of all items in cart

I have to get the Mage_Sales_Model_Quote_Address object of the current customer from inside of a helper or controller.
I thought that it works similar like this:
$customerId = Mage::getSingleton('customer/session')->getId();
$quote = Mage::getModel('sales/quote_address')->loadByCustomer($customerId);
...
But there is a 502 error. And the Quote Address Modell does not have a loadByCustomer function. How can I get the quote address to iterate over all its items from my helper or controller?
Helper:
public function showAllSku(Mage_Sales_Model_Quote_Address $address)
{
$total = 0;
foreach ($address->getAllItems() as $item) {
$product = $item->getProduct();
$options = $product->getTypeInstance(true)->getOrderOptions($product);
Mage::Log("SKU: ". $item->getSku(), 7, "model.log");
}
return 'true';
}
Controller:
public function testAction()
{
$address = ???; //<-- I need help here
echo Mage::helper('my_module')->showAllSku($address);
}
